Another successful programme completed

The MPPC programme is the largest and most complex change to HMRC's NIRS2 service since its introduction. NIRS functionality is currently approx 35,000 function points. MPPC will deliver an additional 8,500 function points. There are 54 new interfaces being introduced which will add 28,000 new online service users. The NIRS platform will account for 60% of the Governments income.S.C.S.L managed the following programmes for Fujitsu:1. Release 1 Programme: Replacement of legacy 3rd party software components within National Insurance Recording System 2 (NIRS2) and the introduction of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for the exposure of current and future components as consumable services within the overall Future Enterprise Architecture (FEA)2.Release 3: Development of remaining key PAYE processes on NIRS2 platform including data capture, full maintenance of individual and employment functionality, in year and end of year processing, full coding functionality, accounting, output management, contact history and MIS (June 2009)
