What a shambles from the initial design /survey to what they called completion for our supposedly “high quality kitchen”. We were told that we would have photographs taken of our kitchen when complete, however we had to pay for a decorator to make good the mess ClearWater had left. The troubles started when the kitchen units were not inline at the top, there was a 15mm step from one unit to the next at the boiler unit and it looked awful. The handles were not what we ordered. We asked for a wine rack, but what was fitted was far too wide and is now shelving and has no purpose for use and the quality control officer Mr Alan Patterson agreed with us but would not rectify the design of the “wine rack” (WHAT A JOKE) Shortly after “completion” we noticed that our new tiled floor was showing signs of cracking. They sent the tiler back who retiled the floor. Great we thought, however the cracking was still there after his fifth attempt to rectify the problem. ClearWater then decided to send a different tiler. When he came he noticed the problem straight away. The kitchen floor had not been screwed down properly and this is why the floor was constantly cracking. Our floor had to be completely removed and installed again. This should have been checked before the tiler started the first time. I would not recommend this company to an enemy never mind a friend as this has been an expensive, stressful and time consuming experience from CLEARWATER KITCHENS.

It has taken nearly 3 months from design/sale of kitchen to me getting what purports to be the finished product. The installers if the oven, hob and sink were quick and efficient whilst the fitters of the replacement doors and trim took longer than the 2 days quoted (it was 4 days over 2 months) and they were untidy and messy and with the long time gaps between visits we were left to clean up their mess after the 3 visits. Communication with the management was stilted and procrastinating, excuses were in abundance and Customer Services (Bobby) was always "away from his desk". I have a large house with a large garden and the fitters needed to use much of my outside space as well as my conservatory in which to work which makes me wonder how they would be able to overcome working in limited spaces of smaller houses and flats. In the end the joinery was generally ok but I do need to repaint my kitchen walls and clean down the ceiling panels. Sorry, only "E" for effort
